What happens in surgery?
In surgery the anaesthetists looks after you and makes sure you are okay. The surgeons will operate on you and try to make you feel better. There will be nurses around who are busy making sure everything is okay. If you feel sick after surgery the doctors can give you medications to stop you feeling sick and to reduce your pain.
