This website is designed to describe to a child the process of having planned surgery.
It is aimed at children aged 6-8.
To make the most out of this website it would be ideal if you, the adult, could read through the storyboard with your child. By using Emma and Dougie, ask your child how they think the characters would feel in this situation. This will allow a dialogue to open with you and your child about their concerns about having surgery.
This is because one of our aims of the website is that this website opens up a conversation with you and your child.
